There is no charge to attend this weekend’s summit. However, attendees are responsible for their own travel and hotel accommodations. We have a hotel block and we are offering the Healing Journey Challenge to help subsidize these costs available until Apr 4, 2024

Note: The 2nd Patient Empowerment Summit is an in-person conference that is interactive. Some sessions will be recorded, edited, and released at a later day for on-demand viewing.  Additionally, we will be offering a Livestream for a portion of our conference on 5/6/2024 for those unable to travel. A: Gastric Cancer Advocacy Day aims to raise awareness, promote policy changes, and engage policymakers to address the needs of individuals affected by stomach cancer. The primary objective is to advocate for increased awareness, funding, research, and support for those impacted by this disease.

Q: Where and when will the summit be held?

A: The summit will start on May 5 at 12 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. on May 6. Followed by advocacy training on at 5pm on May 6, and an Advocacy Day on May 7.

A:  Yes. These are separate but we highly encourage you to try both. The theme of both events are Your Story Matters.

A: Absolutely! While our primary focus is on patients and caregivers, healthcare professionals will also gain insights into patient experiences, needs, and the tools and resources they find most beneficial. It’s an excellent opportunity for professionals to understand the patient’s perspective better. We have a separate sign-up page.

 Q: Are there any fees for attending the summit?

A: No, the summit is free. All sessions, workshops, and receptions are free. However, transportation and lodging are not covered. We are committed to making this event accessible, and we have provided the Healing Journey Challenge to help cover additional travel and lodging costs.

A: We understand the financial challenges that can come with a cancer diagnosis. We have set up the Healing Journey Challenge.
